Liquors

Tequila = El tequila  (teh-kee-lah)

Mezcal = El mezcal (mehs-kal)

Rum = El ron  (rrohn)

Vodka = La vodka (bod-kah)

Whisky = El whisky (wee-skee)

Gin = La ginebra  (heen-eh-brah)

Schnapps = El aguardiente (ah-gwahr-dee-en-teh)

Bourbon = El bornón (born-bone)

Brandy = El brandy (brahn-dee)

Cognac = El coñac (kon-yahk)

Margarita = La margarita (mar-gah-ree-tah)

Mojito = El mojito (mo-hee-to)

Martini = El martini (mar-tee-nee)

White Russian = El ruso blanco (rru-so blahn-ko)

Black Russian = El ruso negro (rru-so neh-grow)

Daiquiri = El daiquiri (die-kee-ree)

Tequila and cola = El charro negro (chah-rro neh-grow) {Literally: The Black Horseman)

Calimocho = El calimocho (kahl-ee-moe-cho). This is a combo of red wine and cola and it’s surprisingly delicious.

Pisco Sour = El pisco amargo (pees-ko ah-mahr-go) This is a classic cocktail in South America.

Pulque = El pulque (pool-kay). Pulque is a thick Mexican alcoholic beverage, made from fermented maguey sap, which comes in all manner of flavors.

Screwdriver  = El destornillador (dess-tor-nee-ya-dor)

Another round, please = Otra ronda, por favor (oh-trah ron-dah, poor fah-vor)

Can I have a ________, please? = ¿Me da un/una ________, por favor? (meh dah oon/oonah ________, poor fah-vor)

Make it a double = Házlo doble (ahs-lo doh-bleh)

I’d like a (liquor) and (juice/soda), please. = Quiero un (liquor) con (juice/soda), por favor.  (kee-ro oon _______ con _______, poor fah-vor). Example: Quiero un ron con jugo de piña (pineapple juice), por favor.
